AURORA is a global manufacturer of specialized HVAC systems and components for a wide assortment of on and off road vehicles. The AURORA Group's main production facility is located in Mudau, Germany. Deep in the heart of the Neckar-Odenwald-Kreis, the group's headquarters sits in the very northern regions of Germany's third largest state by geographical land mass; Baden-Wuerttemberg. While the company was originally founded in Leipzig, the move to Mudau, BW took place in 1965. AURORA Germany's history is long and rich. Our first heater installation into a Ford Model A took place back in the 1930s.

In the decades since, AURORA Germany has continued to spearhead HVAC innovation and technologies across all platforms. Our design and engineering team incorporates their climate expertise and technological know-how into every AURORA product. Alongside a team of test engineers and our quality experts, AURORA can guarantee our products perform to your specifications.

Today, AURORA Germany employs over 300 people. This location houses our global sourcing strategists, multi-lingual sales departments, and our state-of-the-art testing chambers and production processes. AURORA prides itself in being vertically integrated. Not only does this help us maintain our high quality standards throughout the production process, but it also helps us control costs, allowing us to be price-competitive in the market place. AURORA continues to invest further into in-house production capabilities and processes; from sheet metal fabrication, tube bending, and brazing, to advanced plastics, optimized logistics warehouses, testing facilities, and stream-lined assembly processes. From prototyping and testing to full series production; AURORA Germany produces thousands of HVAC systems and components for customers all across the globe.

AURORA facilities are constantly undergoing plans for expansion and globalization in order to better serve our global customers. One of our latest additions, a brand new production hall, was completed in 2014 and holds many of our plastic injection molding machines, which are fully-automatic and can run with little or no supervision. These machines (seen below) produce many of our louvers and plastic housings for blowers or HVAC systems.
